My Favorite International Fashion Blogger

  As a fashion designer, the knowledge about fashion's development from time to time is a must. In today's digital era, the easiest way  to get that information is from the internet. You can look for many sites provide information about latest fashion news, one of them trough fashion blog. 

   Fashion blog is one of the most resourceful place to get information about fashion, from fashion news and gossip, fashion event, until styling, some of the bloggers even make their own personal style as a main material in their blog,  so that you can choose to follow fashion blogger who according to your style. In this article i'll let you know seven of my favorite international fashion blogger that i follow. 


1. Tavy Gevinson


   Tavi Gevinson (born April 21, 1996) is an American writer, magazine editor, and actress. She came to public attention at the age of 12, due to her fashion blog Style Rookie. By the age of 15, she had shifted her focus to pop culture and feminist discussion. Gevinson is the founder and editor-in-chief of the online Rookie Magazine, aimed primarily at teenage girls. In both 2011 and 2012, she appeared on the Forbes 30 Under 30 in Media list. In 2014, she was named one of "The 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014" by Time magazine. She is one the first fashion blogger that i know.

2. Margaret Zhang

    
   Margaret Zhang is an Australian fashion and lifestyle blogger. She is the founder of Shine by Three. and having worked with global brands like Gucci and Dior, this Australian creative has established herself as a leading digital influencer. Zhang’s early interest in fashion saw her begin her blog at the age of 16. In 2014, she teamed up with Matchesfashion as a guest buyer during New York Fashion Week. In 2015, she also served as one of Clinique’s global faces for the company’s #FaceForward campaign. Her photography, styling, and creative direction has been employed by the likes of L’Officiel, Harper’s Bazaar, Nylon, Marie Claire, Buro24/7, and ELLE. With nearly a million followers on Instagram and half a million unique visitors per month on Shine By Three, Zhang is one of fashion week’s most recognisable faces, regularly attending high-profile shows like Balenciaga, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. In 2015, Margaret Zhang won the Elle Digital Influencer of the Year award. In 2016, she was inducted to Forbes's 30 under 30 Asia list, as well as TimeOut’s 40Under40. With much of her 20s still ahead of her, Zhang’s rapid growth in the world of fashion has made her next step rather unpredictable. I know about her for the first time from Australian reality documentary television series on E channel "Fashion Blogger".

3. Susanna Lau

   



   Susanna Lau, (also known as Susie Bubble) is a British fashion blogger whose blog, Style Bubble has become one of the most successful and widely recognised blogs of its type since it started in 2006.Her thoughtful, informed commentary abd eclectic personal style have made her a well-respected fashion blogger and reporter. Lau now works full-time on her blog and other freelance projects, including writing for ElleThe Daily Rubbish and Dazed DigitalLau has been featured in W. Vogue UK, Vogue Japan, Elle US, 10 China and many more publications. In 2013, she joined NowManifest, a network of style bloggers owned by Condé Nast that includes Bryanboy, Style by Kling, and Fashion Toast. I really love the way she mix-matching her clothes.

4. Hana Tajima


   Hana Tajima is a designer and visual artist.  Her blog hanatajima.com (formerly stylecovered.com) fast became a new and unique voice in fashion and is a widely read reference the world over. Born and raised in the UK, her parents both artists, she was raised in a highly creative environment with an emphasis on aesthetic and expressive freedom. With a professional background in fashion, Hana went straight from a design education to starting a womenswear label, MAYSAA, which gained much success both in the UK and internationally.  Notable features and interviews include ELLE Italia, ELLE Canada, Address Magazine, and Harper’s Bazaar. Hana has worked with artists and designers such as Rosie Lowe, Port St Willow, Bing and Ruth, and Okuda Yusai on collaborative fashion and video projects, writing for her blog and print publications.  Her photographic work has also been featured in ELLE Italia and many online blogs and journals. In July 2015 Hana launched a collaboration with UNIQLO on a collection of womenswear. Hana Tajima is the first hijab fashion blogger that i know.

5. Chiara Feragni
   


   Chiara Ferragni (born 7 May 1987 ) is an Italian businesswoman and fashion influencer on social media. She is also a blogger and fashion designer who has been employed by Guess as a model and spokesperson. As a blogger, she is known as The Blonde Salad, which is the name of both her fashion blog and her first published book. Ferragni has done a broad array of fashion collaborations with leading designers. Her public figure is managed by TBS Crew. Chiara Ferragni launched her blog, ‘The Blonde Salad,’ in 2009 as online platform: both lifestyle magazine and e-shop. whilst attending Milan’s Bocconi University for a degree in law. The blog’s title is indicative of the ‘mixed salad’ of interests it features, including travel, beauty and food. However, Ferragni’s success in the fashion world has seen it evolve primarily into a fashion blog, charting what she wears, her inspirations, and her numerous collaborations with an impressive roster of design houses, including Dior, Ermenegildo Zegna, Bennetton and Mango. Ferragni has also collaborated with Louis Vuitton on a series of video posts, documenting her travels throughout the world, and her use of Vuitton products. 'The Blonde Salad' has been featured in Teen Vogue, New York Magazine and on Vogue.com. Ferragni has launched a shoe line with innovative retailer  Luisa Via Roma , bearing Picasso-inspired eye illustrations and Warhollian lips and lipsticks; she stars in the campaign herself. Today her eponymous line includes footwear and accessories. In February 2016, Amazon Fashion announced that Ferragni would become the brand's European ambassador and the face of its Spring 2016 campaign.

6. Leandra Medine
   

   Leandra Medine is an American author, blogger, and humor writer best known for the Man Repeller, an independent fashion and lifestyle website with quirky concept: Man Repeller. “It’s about trends that women love and men hate,” which clocks millions of pageviews a month. Man Repeller  and the concept of “man repelling” has entered the fashion vernacular, as has “arm party,” a term coined by Medine to describe her habit of stacking her forearms with numerous bracelets. She attended Eugene Lang College at The New School for Liberal Arts in New York. Three days after Medine started the Man Repeller in 2010, the website was featured in Refinery29. Within days, she was also featured in the fashion websites Style.com, Gawker, The Cut, and Fashionista.  Fashion designers like Rebecca Minkoff and Phillip Lim invited her to Fashion Week and collaborated with her. In 2012, Medine was featured in Forbes's "Top 30 Under 30" as one of the year's "most influential trendsetters,"[3] while the Man Repeller was recognized in TIME's "25 Best Blogs of 2012",[4] and received "Best Overall Blog" at the 2012 Bloglovin' Awards.[5] Medine released her first book, an essay collection and memoir titled Man Repeller: Seeking Love, Finding Overalls, in 2013. She has collaborated with a long list of fashion brands and retailers, including Maje, Michael Kors , Gryphon, Del Toro, Dannijo, Saks Fifth Avenue and others. And it's these collaborations that net her the bulk of her income.

7. Nicole Warne



   Nicole Warne is an Australian Blogger and one of the world's leading digital influencers, with her fashion, travel and lifestyle brand – Gary Pepper Girl – boasting a loyal global audience of over 2.3 million followers. In just six years, she has grown her passion project, website Garry Pepper Girl, into a fully-fledged career as a model, e-commerce entrepreneur and fashion consultant. Her site receives over 35,000 daily visitors, while her Instagram account has a million followers and counting. In 2015, she made history by being the first Australian blogger to ever land the cover of a major fashion magazine, featuring on the front of Elle Australia’s July issue.  Back in 2009, Warne was balancing a job with two internships at Grazia and Harper’s Bazaar Australia, when she decided to drop it all and run Gary Pepper Vintage, a blog and e-bay store selling vintage clothes, full time. Within six months, it had been registered as a company and Warne was shifting 250 items a week. As the site’s popularity soared, Warne fast became a fixture at fashion shows around the world, admired for her quirky, colourful, feminine sense of style.  Since then, Warne has become the poster girl of bloggers that have succeeded in turning their blogs into brands. “Blogging isn’t just blogging anymore, it’s a business,” she told The Coveteur. With this in mind, Warne renamed her site Gary Pepper Girl and in 2012, made the decision to scale back her e-commerce store to focus on more personal endeavours. Signed to IMG in 2013, Warne has modelled for the likes of Roland Mouret and walked in (and hosted) Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. She has also been featured on the cover of Nylon, Elle Australia, Miss Vogue and Lucky magazines. She has also collaborated with luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton , Dolce and Gabbana and Lane Crawford.
